The design of this large scale warehouse and office facility provides a functional warehouse and high quality office space behind a striking architectural façade that utilises structural steel columns splayed at 5 degrees from vertical supporting an angled canopy element. The use of blue glass, textured masonry cladding and a variety of steel cladding provide visual interest to the building. The project features a 10% office to warehouse floor area ratio. It also includes a large undercover loading area with extra wide roller shutter doors. The design has used lighting to great effect in highlighting the architectural elements of the design at night.
The project has more than met the clients’ expectations. Not initially intended or requested, the developers have identified this project as their flagship building, and they have subsequently used photos and drawings of this project for their marketing purposes.
